Born in 1957 Havana, Cuba. Resides Truro MA. Works in various media, using mostly reclaimed materials, investigating the idea of transformation through loss.
Recently I am thinking about religious ritual and iconography, personal altars as well as iconic imagery. The piece I am working on for 2011 exhibit will concentrate on man's attempt to communicate directly with Deity.

"I find Billy totally fascinating artist... he brought to the gallery "untitled" (dancing boy)... and I just wanted to weep for all children lost... his art touches me deeply, on gut-level; there is nothing beautiful... and every thing IS beautiful. Now. Always." Ewa Nogiec
